{personal} Howdog

Usually during my daughters nap time I am at the computer working away editing photos and  everyday our dog Howie wakes her up barking. 90% of Howie’s day he sits on top my nice leather chair staring out the window for “intruders” (mailman, people harmlessly walking by, a leaf blowing across the driveway, or the chipmunk that deliberately tortures him by running along the outer edge of our window). He has actually ripped the seams out of my beautiful chair where he plops his big behind  for his stakeouts. Anyways…on this particular day he started barking right on schedule 15 minutes into my daughters nap and as always I went trucking down the hallway to shush him. When I got to the big leather chair he just stared at me. He looked so proud. It melted my heart. I ran and snagged my camera and grabbed this shot of him.
