All boy!

Hey everyone! Recently (OK, at the beginning of April :) ) I got the opportunity to photograph a sweet faced beautiful boy and his family. This is Blake and his family; his mama is a former co-worker from my old “working” days. I first photographed Blake when he was a tiny baby boy, he was one of my first models! Well Blake has grown up to be all boy… I brought a few small balls to the session and that was it, running with the ball, holding the ball, throwing the ball….. Many of the shots taken during the session were while he is anxiously waiting for me to throw the ball back to him. He is precious!
You know how you know someone for a long time, before marriage and kids. The time eventually comes when they have tiny ones of their own. I LOVE watching those babies grow and discovering how they resemble one parent or another. I was struck how Blake looked so much like his gorgeous mama, those dimples and those smiling blue eyes – breathtaking!

Wedding

Hello everyone! Lindy and I photographed our friend’s wedding on 2/6/10; it was our first experience as wedding photographers. We hesitated whether or not to post the images as we will not do weddings in the future; it was a one time only experience to share in the moment of our good friend’s special day. After much thought and encouragement from the bride we decided to share a few.
