I LOVE LOVE LOVE cake smash sessions, LOVE THEM! This is sweet baby Olivia; I had the privilege of photographing her as a newborn last April, and just last month she turned one! Mom always buys the cutest outfits for their sessions from The Pink Hippo and this one didn’t disappoint. Happy Birthday Olivia!

Game Night

Hello everyone! This lovely family is the lucky winner of WLP’s very first photo contest! See their winning photo here…. This family was a total blast to photograph! Mom, Dad, and one son drove in from out of town for the session; afterwards they all headed back home for an Easter dinner.
I titled this post “Game Night” because Mom talked about how much fun they have when they all get together… the kind of home many of us would like to be a part of. Just spending an hour with them made me feel like home, like I could hop in the car with them and partake in what must have been a fantastic Easter dinner. Afterwards we would gather round and play games, have a beer or two, then maybe some dessert once our stomachs settled a little. I get the impression this kind of fun doesn’t just happen on holidays, but whenever they get together.
