Mini Photography Sessions – just in time for Fall!! – Read how you can participate, below.

Remembrance….

There is something we all have in common; those of us receiving this e-mail and others to whom you may pass it on… Remembrance. One way that we celebrate our families and their memories are through photographs. Treasured portraits are a way of keeping our loved ones close to our hearts and in our minds even when they are not with us.

Infant Remembrance Photography

It may be a concept difficult for you to comprehend, having remembrance photographs taken of one’s baby who will never leave the hospital. You might ask yourself why someone would choose to photograph their baby whom will not come home. For some families a photograph is the only tangible memory they have of their baby. With a photograph they can recall what their baby’s toes looked like, their round little tummy, their pink pudgy nose. Memories fade over time, but a photograph will help recall all those features those parents are worried they might forget.

I am proud to call myself an Affiliate Photographer for an organization who provides Infant Remembrance Photography, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS). These families have changed my life.

How you can help/Fall Mini Photography Sessions!!

This year at White Linen Photography we are holding our first charity event to benefit NILMDTS. This first annual event is in honor of Brayden Allen Rathe, born into heaven on April 30, 2009. Brayden will be forever in our minds and our hearts.

Please join us on October 17th! Receive custom photography portraits and, at the same time, benefit NILMDTS. Here are the details:

Sign up for a 15 minute photo session (if more than one child in your family please sign up for a 15 minute session per child) to be held on October 17th at downtown Valley Junction
Donate $100 directly to NILMDTS (donation will be required at time of session, payment by check only, made out to NILMDTS)
$100 per child or $100 per sibling group
For your $100 donation you will receive from White Linen Photography: a 15 minute photo session and a custom print package which includes 1-8×10, 2-5x7s, and 8 wallets – a $210 dollar value. (additional prints can be ordered at regular a la carte pricing).
Mini Sessions are available for children ages 1-10 years. Please contact me for siblings outside of that age group.

This is a great time to get custom photos with your kids in their Halloween Costumes! Or get images for your Holiday Card (we have custom Holiday Cards available!).
