Boys!

Hello everyone how about this B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L fall weather we are having!?!

I wanted to post a quick pic of a session I had in July – these two twin boys were an absolute blast to photograph. Part of the reason the session was so much fun was the freedom Mom and Dad gave us to play play PLAY. Mom and Dad sat in the car within view of the boys but gave me complete and total freedom to bond with their twins and create a magical world just for us. They were SO MUCH FUN!! H. had the coolest two-tone hair, the kind that stood up so fluffy and soft you wanted to ruffle it. And his smile… it filled his cheeks and took over his eyes… he’s a dreamer I think. J. seemed the more serious of the brothers – he was quiet yet self directed, he knew what he wanted to do and pretty much did it. He had sort of an vintage-y Elvis look about him, like he was an old soul.

I have two favorite parts of the session – the first was when Mom put on the boy’s super hero capes and they whirled and whizzed around me barely aware of the presence of us mere mortals. My second favorite part was at the very end when… get this… Mom and Dad let both boys, spankin clean white T-shirts and all, jump in the mud puddles that surrounded us! The family had plans to go to a local outdoor music concert after the session but Mom and Dad just let us go….how awesome is that! And boy did the twins go and go and jump and splash and play – they were soaked!
