My Family

Hello all! For those of you who know me you may recognize my oldest brother and his family here. I’m kinda sad posting these pictures – partly because they were taken in the summer and its TOO COLD HERE at the moment, but mostly because these were taken right before my bro and his family moved far far far away to Virginia. I miss them. Its funny how you miss something/someone once it’s gone. Admittedly and a bit sadly we didn’t spend a ton of time together while they lived here, but the time we spent together was fun, it was good, it was that warm feeling you sometimes get when you laugh. They are such good people, that’s the simplest way to describe them I think, that and incredibly warm hearted.

Sara – wow what an amazing girl. She was Our Firstborn – everyone in our entire family’s firstborn even though she wasn’t “ours” exactly. She was the first child born to all of us siblings (there are 4 of us) and that makes her special – ya know?! She’s grown into a mature, confident, athletic, smart, kindhearted, all around AMAZING person. If my girls grow up to be at least 1/2 the person she is I’ll consider myself lucky. She’s simply amazing. I miss her.

Michael – oh boy! He reminds me so much of my brother. He adores his Dad like I adored his dad when I was Michael’s age (and way beyond his age, too). Although Michael is the same age as my oldest his heart lies with my youngest, and it’s mutual. Those two are soul-mates in a way, they have a connection that I haven’t seen in kids that young. Maybe it’s because my SIL took care of my girls right after Claire was born so she spent lots of time with Michael, but then again maybe not. They just have a connection that even distance can’t erase.

I miss them, I miss them all.

And one more thing…. are they all amazingly gorgeous or what!?!?!?! What can I say, good looks runs in our family :D
