My girls – the most kind genuine, authentic people I have ever known.  They make me want to be the best person I possibly can.  I’ve always wanted them to know love, the images Lindy captured showed me that they do. 

For Rachel – If you believe in reincarnation than you know within minutes of meeting her that this is her last time around; she is wise beyond her years.  She knows things in her soul that she can’t wrap her mind around, her 10 year old instincts haven’t caught up with that wise woman soul that she has and she struggles sometimes.  I’m thankful that she has the ability to imagine a happy world surrounded by friends/family no matter where she is.  I”m thankful she loves her little sister and takes care of her, even when that sister sticks to her like glue just to irritate the living daylights out of her;  I know they will always be there for each other.  I’m thankful that she teaches me every day how to be patient when I go to hug or kiss her and she says “no thanks”; she comes to me for love in her own time, when she needs it.   I’m thankful for her grace and strength in the face of adversity this year, and her never ending loyalty to her family.  I”m thankful for YOU Rachel, and all that you are. 

For Claire -if you believe in reincarnation this is her first time around and she’s making the absolute most of it!!  I’m thankful for her never ending stream of genuine happiness that she exudes 24/7.   Sometimes we just look at her pure expression of joy and wonder – what does it feel like to be so happy all the time?  I’m thankful for the smotherings of hugs and kisses she gives all day, including the gentle nudge of her feet in my belly or the small hand fluttering my face in the middle of the night just to know I’m there.  I’m thankful for her smile that lights up a room, her crazy blue eyes that twinkle at you when they see you.  I’m thankful for her self discipline; although she’d rather be climbing the monkey bars and jumping around the playground she gets right down to work when asked of her,  something that must be very very hard for a free spirit like her.  I’m thankful that as I’m sitting here writing this blog post we are writing “I Love You” notes back and forth to each other… and that I just read in her 1st grade handwriting “I love you mayr than evereythinge”.  Me too Claire, I love you mayr than evereythinge, too. 

 

And if you’ve read through the longest post in history of posts I’m thankful for my hysterical, creative, strong, dip-loving business partner and friend, Lindy.  Love ya girl.

As you know we have a new in home studio – woot woot! Ok you haven’t seen the final pictures yet because we still have some tweaking to do but as soon as we do our final tweak we’ll be sure to get those pictures posted!!
